Suzuki Splash – 80.4% pass rate

The Splash is a car that goes to show how important it is to drill down into data more closely. Across all ages, models and mileages, the average pass rate is 80.4 per cent – but you really need to look at when a car was registered to see how well it really performs compared to other cars.

Versus the overall average for all makes and models the same age, 2012 and 2013 examples of the Splash have a higher pass rate, while 2009 and 2010 models are bang on the average. That said, no year or age is a below average performer. The mechanically identical but differently badged Vauxhall Agila has similar performance, too.
