Dacia Sandero - 80.5% pass rate
This list is based on MoT data from 2016. Since the Dacia Sandero was launched in 2013, it was only due for its first MoT in 2016 so there isn’t all that much data. If you drill down, it actually only has average performance compared to other more expensive cars of the same age.
But, on the plus side, it’s a cheap car to buy. Even brand new, you can get one for £6995, while used examples in really good condition and with low miles can be had for less than £5000. So even if it’s a bit of an anomaly in our list, it’s still a smart buy for those on a budget.
