Renault Scenic - 85.7% pass rate

The Renault Scenic’s decent performance should be lauded in many ways. It performed above average when it came to several common fault areas – the lights, tyres and the driver’s view of the road.

However, the Scenic has a slight weakness when it comes to its suspension, it would appear. 6.6 per cent failed on this front, which is six times worse than normal. The biggest area of concern is the constant velocity joint, which is picked up on in the drive shaft area of the test. It is 42 times more likely to fail on this than average. If this has been checked, and all is ok, then it stands a high chance of getting that pass certificate.
