Vauxhall Agila – 88.8% pass rate

Although Vauxhall has got some models towards the bottom end of the first-time table, the Agila performs commendably well. This is less surprising when you consider that it is fundamentally the same car under the skin as the Suzuki Splash.

Like the Splash, the Agila is no longer sold, with the Adam now the smallest model in Vauxhall’s range, but there should be a fair few used models around still. The things to look out for include the commonly neglected windscreen wipers – 3.7 per cent fail for that reason alone, which is 41 per cent worse than the 2013 average.
