One of the most surprising aspects to come out of The MoT Files is the amount of regional variations. You wouldn't have thought that the MoT test (and whether you pass or fail) would vary that much - but it does. In fact, every single one of the postcode areas in our top ten is in the South East. Slough is the first post code area to appear in this top then that is outside of the Greater London area – although only just. Slough is subject to the same mild climate as London and most of the roads are urban or motorways, which keeps weathering and wear and tear down.
