He was very pushy and made me feel forced into buying a used suzuki

We bought a second hand Suzuki Celerio from this dealership three years ago because it was cheap but quickly grew to love this totally reliable, fun little car. This is a friendly, good value dealership, that we continue to use after the warranty on our car has expired. I was particularly impressed when two hours after the car was taken for its latest annual service, I received an email with a video attachment, showing a mechanic carrying out a safety inspection on our car with a very detailed commentary over the clear close-ups. My wife's car; a Suzuki Celerio during our 40 months of ownership has remained faultless until yesterday! My experience today is typical of my reasons for liking and respecting this dealership. The larger of the two front wiper blades started to split. Now I have not bought a wiper blade for over 20 years as they must have been routinely replaced at service time and as in my days of old, discount motoring accessory shops sprang to mind. However, I realised I would have to drive past Luscombe's on the way and remembering their promise to match the cost of any tyres so I gave them a ring. I was quoted a very competitive price for quality items which included VAT. How often are you given a price over the phone and then told plus VAT when you get there because you did not ask? I turned up at Luscombe's Reception today. and was immediately welcomed by two staff and told by one of the lady receptionists that the Service Department was now round the back near their Mitsubishi showroom. Recognising my confusion at her clear directions she kindly took me there. The service manager remembered our conversation the previous day and came out to my car to check the lengths of the two different sized wiper blades. ' Would you like me to fit them for you?' 'It is OK, thank you I took the worn blade off and refitted it, so I know what to do, cheers.' When I got back to the car another member of the Luscombe staff was just getting into his car and seeing me with the blades in my hand came over and offered to fit them for me...... 'Thanks, I'm OK, cheers.' However, when I tried to fit the new blades the fittings were slightly different from the old ones and I could not get them to click into place and eventually fearful of breaking something ... humble pie ..back to the service department! The manager came out and fitted them both in seconds even diluting my feeling of incompetence by explaining that the replacement blade fittings were stiff as new and needed a forceful shove to locate the lug. So thanks to all of the Luscombe staff that I met today for the superb service to a customer only after a pair of wiper blades. No wonder they regularly win awards!

First service for the new SCross auto 1.4 As it was a free service part of the Suzuki promotion plan I was expecting a very basic service Not so the service was very comprehensive & a wash & valet to boot. Completely free no extras, the staff were really professional but nice with it. Top marks for Luscombes

2 nd year service for my Suzuki S Cross Auto, no problems to report. The service was priced before work started & completed on time. Allowing me only 2 cups of free coffee. I was offered a car to use while the service was being done but as its free WiFi I was able to catch up on my emails. Overall no complaints, much better garage than some I could mention.

I spent some considerable time visiting different car showrooms in order to purchase my new car, and was astounded by the lack of staff quality in most dealerships. The service I received when I initially visited Luscombe Suzuki was one of the main reasons I chose to buy my top of the range Suzuki Vitara rather than another brand of car. On each subsequent visit or telephone call, the level of service I have received has been unsurpassable, a fact agreed with other satisfied customers I have chatted to whilst waiting for works to be carried out on my car,e.g. initial 200 mile inspection, and my first service. Damian my salesman was great to deal with - not pushy at all, even though in the end I chose a number of extras, and since I have had the car, Kirsty is a welcome point of contact, who makes any arrangements politely and efficiently. All the staff bar none are courteous, friendly and helpful, and despite a few telephone calls to answer queries on my new car, I have never been made to feel anything is too much trouble for them. There is a pleasant waiting area with free tea and coffee, and I look forward to going there. I have recommended this garage to all my friends.
