we asked for two light bulbs to be replaced and asked for a safety checkup on our steering as we had a noise.

Armed with the other, really positive review, I visit this garage a couple of weeks ago. I was quoted a good price, was very positive & said he could do the work anytime after about an hour. On return, the operative looked distraught, seemed under pressure & said he was waiting for another operative from their other branch to help & as a result couldn't say how long before he could start the job. There was no call to let me know job was done. I wandered around wasting time for an hour or more. On my return, the price, quoted at "£60ish" was nearer £67. He apologised that he always forgets to quote with VAT. Helpfully, the other man looked at another problem & confirmed it wouldn't need attention for some time, but I left my MOT paperwork in error. They didn't contact me about it, which I thought they probably would, which was disappointing. I phoned the next morning. The same operative said he had my papers would keep them in a marked envelope for collection a few days later. When I visited the garage about 4 days later, the same operative apologised that the manager had gone on a tidy up spree in his absence and thrown it away. Overall, not an impressive customer service. However, the repair (exhaust box) looks good and works OK, and it was still a good price. I doubt I will go back.

i was concerned about taking my car to a garage, as a female we seem to be ripped off by some garages as we are seen as easy targets, not bath street garage they have always treated me with fairness and respect explaining what i need done and why, would recommend this garage to anyone as i have never had a bad service or experience.

Like most people, especially women I am concerned about being ripped off when having my car serviced. I found that Bath Street Garage not only went out of their way to explain clearly what needed doing but I was able to speak directly with the mechanic carrying out the work. It is a small garage with a personal service that I feel is lacking in many large franchised garages I have visited in the past. The level of service and value for money was second to none and I would highly recommend this garage to anyone in the area
