Just wanted them to fit two new rear lights to my Mazda Rx8, they didn’t tighten one of them up correctly so it leaked in water, I got rid of the water but then the led lights didn’t work, took it back to them they said the car was ok the light unit was faulty, £250 for a new set, turned out to be the connector faulty, spent in total £550 for new rear lights because I went to them. It was a simple job done badly I now have a spare set of 250 quid lights I don’t need thanks to professionals??

Fred Gort: I was told by Ford dealer that to change a light bulb in my Instument panel, on my Ford Mondeo TDci would involve the whole Binnical to be removed, and this would cause creaking and groaning from it afterwards; the cost they quoted was horrendous! I phoned this company and spoke to the owner: Norman told me he had done pleanty of these jobs and did not need the whole front out. I took it down next day, and found a neat, clean, and warm work area, with an excellent waiting lounge, complete with papers and drinks machine. Job done within two hours, and price a fraction of the Ford quote. All bulbs were changed, and there is no creaking at all! What a gem these people are, I will never go anywhere else for electrical work, and will certainly try their MOT and service next year; they even checked my battery condition too. If only more garages were run like this.

"Great service, at a good price"

Had a problem with a heater control on my old golf, which meant that the heater fan didn't work at all. Took the car in first thing and picked it up later on the same day, (fixed) as you'd hope. They had fitted a generic replacement resistor pack which kept the cost down and the labour charges were minimal. This will be the first place I'll be coming to with any future electrical problems.

"Quality service at a good price"

The garage was recommended by a family friend. I had previously had my 07 Nissan Qashqai serviced at the main dealer who provided the car but I felt things weren't right so I was looking for a good independent. I wasn't too sure which service was due as I don't do a lot of miles but they managed to work everything out from the service booklet and via the internet. Due to a cock up on our part I was 2 days late but that didn't phase them and I was still able to get a courtesy car. They were in touch as soon as the work was complete and when I went to pick the car us we had a 15 minute discussion while everything was explained to me. I actually felt they valued my business and that I counted as a customer.

'97 Mondeo 2.5 v6 alternator swap, pain in the axxe to change. These guys did an awesome job. quoted job, no extra's, never had any problems since they done the job. Agree with Spireman when i took it to another so called auto electricians. LUCAS BURNAGE STAY WELL AWAY, as to check electrical problem told it would cost £35, would this be included in the overall job price, no this was extra.

They take a little finding but are well worth it. I took my Modeo with an unkown electrical fault. After much testing and overnight battery charging I was advised to change the battery which was new and under warranty with another dealer. (Lucas Burnage) When I asked how much, they said nothing as they had not been able to fix the problem. Lucas Burnage charge a flat £40 just to test a battey.
