Tucked away at the end of Keynsham Street, Cheltenham (GL52 6EJ), Michael Smith Motors (est. 1970) is a hidden gem - as testified by the large number of loyal customers, many of whom have been bringing their cars here much longer than I have (only 25 years or so). Service is always quick and to a very high standard, and billing is straightforward and honest. I understand there's quite a waiting list for bodywork repairs and resprays - but that's because Neil Smith's work has such a high reputation. Top recommendation.
