Renault Clio 39% pass rate
The Renault Clio was the car that helped revitalise the French brand and gave it a more youthful image. Replacing the dated Renault 5, the Clio was helped by the now famous Nicole and Papa television adverts. Sadly it's not fared as well in the long term with an MoT pass rate of below 40 per cent. Anti-roll bars and coil springs are the main culprits.
