Ford Ka 34% pass rate
Despite its small size and low price, the Ka is the car credited with revitalising Ford in Europe. Its cutting egde design, simple yet stylish interior and nimble handling made it the perfect small hatch and it proved a huge seller for Ford, especially here in the UK. More than 35,000 were MoTd in 2013 but a pass rate of 34 per cent is poor. Suspension problems and steering issues were among the most common reasons for a fail.
