These are the MoT pass rates for all manufacturers for all years (1980-2013)

As expected, the tables are dominated by luxury and classic brands, with low volumes and high pass rates distorting the results. It’s worth noting that the highest rated vehicles will cover a low mileage and be better cared for than mainstream models, which again distorts the picture for mainstream cars.
