MoT Data for Cardiff
The Cardiff (CF) postcode covers more than just Cardiff itself, with a lot of surrounding countryside as well as coastal areas, none of which are very friendly to cars – which is perhaps why Cardiff is in the lower half of the table with an overall pass rate of 56%. Failure rates for all of the key areas are higher in CF postcodes, some significantly so.
Most of the numbers in the rest of the tables are red, too, showing below average performance regardless of make and model or year of manufacture, with a few exceptions.
