When should I have my Volvo XC60 serviced?
I have just purchased a Volvo XC60 R Design. Volvo are quoting service intervals of 18,000 miles. I have read that this is too long. Should I opt for an oil change at 10,000 miles? And if so, does this oil change need to be carried out by Volvo to maintain the warranty?
Yes and yes. Oil and oil filter change at least every 10,000 miles or every 12 months whichever comes first. Better to get it done by a Volvo dealer in case the independent uses the wrong oil or wrong filter.
