Can I put off the service on my Mercedes A-Class?

I bought my 2009 Mercedes-Benz A-Class a few months ago with 22,300 miles on the clock. Recently the service light has come on and my I’ve been told the plugs, brake fluid and air filter needs changing at a cost of £539. Is this necessary, or can I leave it until the MoT is due in December?
You might as well have it all done in one go. Advisable to change the brake fluid after fiyr years. The air filter, pollen filter and spark plugs should all also be changed. You might find an independent Mercedes specialist who can do it for less: good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/directory/searc.../
