I own a 2005 Ford Focus C-max 2.0-litre TDCI which is serviced regularly in line with the manufacturers recommendations. My question is, is there any advantage in using semi synthetic or fully synthetic oil over basic mineral oil, assuming that all three meet the car manufacturers recommended standards?
