Make sensor this
Thank you, thank you, thank you. My email to you of 20th April complained about a parking sensor fault on my XJ. My Jaguar dealer offered to fit two new sensors (one front bumper and one back) and paint them for £502. You suggested, “Probably all that is wrong is a cable has come detached,” and suggested I try an independent. I did. Stanley Road Garage checked the connections today and within a few minutes had them working. As it took so little time they did not even charge for the work. The Jaguar dealer apologised and offered a free next service.
Very many thanks for that feedback. All I gave you was simple common sense. But it seems that dealers will try anything for a profit.
