Lied about work required on the car, the next day an independent garage confirmed what I had already guessed, Jemca were trying to trick me into allowing then to charge me for unnecessary work .

Great sales person, in Chandini & Gerald. Both were true to their word. From the moment I stepped in to the time I stepped out. They stuck to their word throughout the simply process.

"Consistently poor after sales service"

I had brought a new Toyota Yaris hybrid from Jemca Edgware Road garage. Part of the sales patter was that the annual service would come with a 'courtesy car' or a while-you-wait service. My first annual service due in Jan 2019. Time taken off work, I duly arrived at 0900hrs and was told my booking was cancelled. They had all my contact details and didn't call/text. The second time I arrived for the service I was told no courtesy car was available but I could do a while-you-wait service. Work obligations didn't permit that. I was told to call again. Next time I rang, I was told there 'system' was down. 4th time, I was told no courtesy car was available nor was there a 'while-you-wait' slot. The next available time when either of these was available was May or June. However, booking that time, I was informed, would likely invalidate my warranty. So, I went for the next available slot. The day before I was informed it was cancelled. After complaining to the manager, I was told it was OK to bring it in the next day and I would get 20% off the price of the service. Thanks but the discount was swallowed by the additional cost of taxis to get from and to the garage. 101 of management: if you don't have the resources to back up your promises, such as 'while-you-wait' service or courtesy cars, just don't make the promise. Otherwise you risk allegations of "misselling" or misleading potential customers. Avoid this place until they get the management sorted out.

I am writing a review of several issues we faced with Jemca Toyota. We bought a vehicle from Jemca Toyota Edgware Road in June 2017. From then till October 2017 several issued we faced were: The tyre pressure had to be filled twice within three months We were told by Nicholas(the sales rep that sold the car to us) that once the spare key was in the office, he would give us a call for us to come and collect. Not only did he forget to call, after calling him several times and leaving voicemails, he only returned the call once, saying the key had come in and had forgotten about it. No service history was given with the car, nor the service book. When we purchased the car there was a small crack on the windscreen which Jemca agreed to repair, and if it returns again (which it is had) Nicholas said you can come in and we will repair the windscreen. When the car was put onto park and the foot is on the brake, the car had a tendency to make a rev sound. We booked an appointment with Toyota Jemca for a service. After addressing these issues with the service team, 4 hours later, they finished the servicing and said the tyre pressure had to be replaced in all the tyres-how can the tyre pressure drop in all the tyres after they have been filled twice in four months, didn't that mean there was a fault with the car? For the rev sound the service team claimed they did not hear any such sound. We asked the Toyota team at Jemca that we wanted to speak with Nicholas regarding the issues we had with the vehicle, which they told us he had gone for a test drive, later to find he was just sitting inside the office the whole time! Wasted another 20 minutes waiting thinking he wasn't in there. So he finally came out and we were explaining to him the issue with the windscreen and also how he was very slow with getting the second pair of keys AND also not returning any calls. Nicholas seemed oblivious about us trying to get a hold of him. Does it take 4 months to give the second pair of keys that have been paid for? His manager then spoke to us asking about the crack in the windscreen, and we showed it to him and he said it was too minor to repair as he thought we were talking about a bullet sized crack, um what the hell? We explained it was repaired but the crack had come back and Nicholas told us to come back if it returns and we will replace the windscreen for you. The manager and Nicholas both denied this was true and Nicholas did not even bother to look at the car. The manager said you can get this fixed under your insurance, why would we do that when the crack was not our fault, shouldn't they be fixing it as they happily told us that when we were bought the car in June? Several months later, the service book still was not given to us. We got so fed up with these constant issues and their false claims of being able to fix something, and then backing out and not keeping their word, we decided to go elsewhere. Conclusion: With so many issues within four months of purchase, and the worst ever customer service ever given to us by a car yard, we would never ever be returning to this car yard again. With their lack of customer service, integrity and cowardly behaviour, do not bother buying any vehicle from Toyota Jemca Edgware Road. From our experience, they will be friendly to you when you are buying the car, and not bother doing anything once they have your money. They treat it as so minor as though you bought a small toy from them, no integrity or consideration at all for their customers. A very bad experience!!
