"Awful"

Never call you back. I had to phone up 4 times and for the last 3 times I said I was very unhappy about not receiving a call back and amazingly they still didn't. Did not fix my roof correctly under warranty, so the leak remained and now refusing to take any responsibility for it. Shocked and appalled.

"Very Disappointing"

Having used them in November and cam away feeling as though they were 'trying it on', we decided to give them one more chance. On arrival, I was forced to abandon the car because there was no customer parking available, in spite of the fact that the car was expected. No courtesy car or drop off was ever offered and my car was required to stay there all day just for an oil change & handbrake adjustment. One of the items listed on the invoice as having been done I know was not done and I pointed it out before leaving. The agent promised me a phone call the next day to 'fix it', but no call ever came. Thus, I am left wondering whether anything on the invoice was actually done. The prices I was charged did not reflect the fact that my car is over 4 years old and, according to BMWw's website, should have been charged at a lower rate. In all, I felt very dissatisfied and will not be using Sytner Ascot again. I would not recommend this garage.

"Poor customer service, always trying to replace parts that have lots of life left in them."

First of all, service are very difficult to get in contact with on the phone. I asked them for a price on a 70k miles (7 year old XJ 2.7 tdi) service - they came back with c£800, which included a cam belt change. Having extensively researched the Jaguar recommended cam belt change, turns out it's 10 yrs or 100k miles !!!!!!!!! 2 yrs ago, when they last serviced this car, they recommended replacement of both rear shock absorbers (pothole damage). 2 yrs later, I still have the same shocks, with no adverse effects. There appears to be a culture of recommending grossly premature parts replacement, which they obviously keep getting away with on their rich clientele, who just accept what they advise. Dodgy and untrustworthy. Incidentally, I called Sytner in Slough, Jag main dealer for the same quote - £199 !! I asked them what the recommended change mileage was for the cam belt - they said 150k miles !! How Jag dealers keep topping the JD Power survey is completely beyond me.
