Called up with a major problem with my Audi TT. They let me bring it in same day, diagnosed it there and then and had it repaired and serviced next working day. Also had a problem with a back light which I had previously been told would cost hundreds to replace the whole light assembly. It turned out to be two new bulbs needed! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them and will not be taking my or any of my family's vehicles anywhere else in the future. Fantastic service, nice knowledgeable staff, and just a great all round experience. Definitely 100% recommendation.

My wife's Ford Ranger double-cab pickup had developed a engine fault, generating warning lights (3) on the dashboard. We'd already been to Ford to get a diagnosis and was quoted over £1,100 to rectify it. I wasn't overly impressed with Ford main dealer (both service or price) so booked in at Steve Mott & Co for a second opinion. My wife initially spoke to them but said they were friendly and seem 'to know what they're talking about'. We both took the truck in two days later and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were obviously busy, but kept me informed during the day of what they'd identified and they fixed the fault at nearly half the price of the Ford Main dealer. The truck now runs like a dream and my wife is extremely happy. Steve Mott & Co provided us with fantastic service and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there again for any issues that crop up in future. They've now secured my business for any servicing or MOT that comes up too. Great work, good service and very reasonably priced.

My car is nearly 3 years old but has done just over the 50,000 miles on the all inclusive BMW service pack so I took it to Steve Mott instead - it also needed an MOT. They did both work packages and were professional, courteous and honest. The pads are showing on the BMW computer as having 4,000 miles left in them but Steve Mott confirmed that there's at least 8-10,000 miles on the pads. This was the same situation as I had earlier in the year with my wife's X6...BMW always try to get you to pay more sooner than you need to. Steve Mott's honesty, integrity and transparency will see me going back to them time and time again instead of main dealers. They're all as bad as each other - independent garages have no such biases so Steve Mott get my vote and my thanks every time - as well as my custom!

Broke down on Sunday - AA recovery ETC - Phoned SM in the morning (Monday) - offered to collect immediately - not needed as i could bring in. No fuss - No excuses - Just plain straightforward, honest communication and service. The Van was already booked in for the MoT next week but they offered and did at the same time. Myself and family and friends wouldn't go anywhere else.

My wife and I have been using Steve Mott's for several years now and have always found them reliable, honest and a reasonable cost. Above all, I trust then to do whatever is necessary and nothing more. If they find anything extra they explain what it is and if necessary show you and will only do "add on" work with your agreement. I would not go anywhere else and have recommended them to several people to date and they have always been as happy as I have been.

I took the car in to see if there was oil leaking. They checked it thoroughly and there was no charge. Have since taken it for a full service and they are very competitive price wise. Very happy.
