Deeply disappointed with the service from Partridge of Hampshire BMW. I am being forced to give them 1 star as 0 star is not an option. I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience here has been so frustrating and unacceptable that I feel people need to be warned. My BMW 6 Series, purchased as a BMW Approved Used Car from Arnold Clark Kirkcaldy BMW, was taken to Partridge of Hampshire on January 2, 2025, to fix several faults that should never exist in a certified vehicle: • Driver-side headlight washer nozzle didn’t retract. • Seatbelt wouldn’t retract or tighten while driving—a clear safety issue. Initially, Partridge refused to carry out the work under warranty, citing prior non-BMW-standard repairs. Eventually, Arnold Clark agreed to cover the costs, and Partridge claimed the vehicle was ready for collection. But when I arrived on January 19 to collect the car, the chaos continued. It was clear the repairs were poorly done: • The front bumper was badly misaligned, with large panel gaps between the headlights and bonnet. • The seatbelt issue was still unresolved. • I was told the bumper couldn’t be aligned properly due to suspected accident damage (although when i dropped the car off to them the bumper was perfectly aligned) After nearly two months without my vehicle, I returned again on February 28 to collect it, only to find the bumper still not perfectly alligned. I was told this was “the best they could do.” Even worse, the driver-side headlight was now scratched, something that was not there when I left the car with them. Saddest part was Sara, who was supposed to be my point of contact and overseeing the repairs, had no idea where my car even was. She repeatedly insisted that the repair wasn’t done—even though I had written confirmation that it was complete and ready for pickup. I have not been provided with any invoices or records of the work they have done in spite of repeatedly asking them to provide it. To add insult to injury, I have formally complained to BMW about the situation, but received no help from them. Now, 5 months on Partridges of Hampshire are even trying to blame me for the scratches on the headlight. To summarise: • My car was in their workshop for nearly two months. • I was not provided a courtesy car, despite repeated requests. • Communication was poor, misleading, and inconsistent throughout. • After all that time, the vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than when I left it. I bought a BMW Approved Used vehicle to avoid this kind of experience—but Partridge of Hampshire delivered exactly what you’d expect from a careless backstreet garage, not a premium dealership. This whole ordeal has been costly, stressful, and absolutely unacceptable. I would advise anyone thinking of trusting their car with this dealership to think twice.

Came in for a service. Got 2 rude staff who tried to over charge me by 150 quid compared to bmw own website quote. Then refused to help remove service light. I would never go there again. Racists and threatened to punch me. One woman is particularly nasty and sits in the corner. She runs the show and tries to scare customers. In all my years of buying very expensive cars I have never met such a group of nasty and racist people. I recommend avoiding this awful place if you don’t want to be abused and beaten up.

Scotthall BMW have serviced my car now for 12 years and have been unfailingly helpful, accommodating, and thoroughly professional in their dealings with me. A car was always available for the day and if a part was delayed then the car would be rolled over to the next day without charge. My key failed once due to a battery failure and not only was this replaced for me but a service team member came out to the car and reprogrammed it for me. No charge. As a long standing customer with an older car my service charges are discounted which is a great help when you are retired. I cannot recommend Scotthall highly enough, one of the best and possibly The best of the Main dealers around, and I've tried a few in the past.
