Failed my mot because of windscreen washer not working so I paid over £100 to get it repaired. It was not repaired because it was not working when I checked a week or so later. So i took it back and then they charged me another £100 to fix it saying that there must have been two things wrong with it and the first £100 only resolved one of the things. Doesn’t sound plausible and sounds like the first £100 went toward replacing something which they thought was the problem but wasn’t. Guess what? A week later it again stopped working and this time the bonnet open sign was permanently on. I took it to another garage and they diagnosed that Sandy lane had not done a proper job and had also caused the bonnet open light to be permanently on. I took it back for a third time and they resolved it for no cost but the windscreen washer still doesn’t work properly and I have paid over £200 for what? Lord knows because I don’t. They didn’t even apologise for the shoddy work and for the inconvenience of me having to travel three times to them for their mistakes. An apology would have been nice but they think they are better than they are. Also they exaggerate on MOTs. I know this because they mentioned the tyres and brakes on my cars but two garages (not one but two) said that the tyres and brakes were within legal limits and that the garage who did the MOT was just being extra to get more money. I used them for several years and whilst they did the warranty jobs on my cars quite well, MOTs are where I found that they exaggerate things and the windscreen washer issue was a joke. Nice people but I won’t use them again because they are not very good mechanics and that’s the most important thing.

They look after my car, van and motorbike as well as my partners vehicles. Fast diagnosis of running problems and very quick to call and explain the faults found. well worth a visit. They say it as it is. Highly recommended.
