Telephoning Loughborough Sandicliffe I explained the problem I had and was told to "hold on I'll transfer you to booking". I held on for 2 minutes and then a lady asked me where I wanted to book in my car. Puzzled by this I said I had telephoned Loughborough. Her explanation was that I had been transferred to a central booking line. Surprising that the garage itself didn't know what bookings it has and has to ask a central point, but I suppose it makes sense to someone. Then she asked what I wanted to book in for. I said that I had explained the problem already and she said I would have to tell her as the Loughborough man hadn't told her. Not helpful. I explained to her and she put me on hold again before coming back to me to say that as it is a brake related problem I should take the car in this afternoon and, unless I can arrange other transport, I should be prepared to wait for several hours. I asked if we couldn't find a time to work to and she said that it wouldn't be possible to be more vague. By which I imagine she meant precise. How many employers are happy to lose a worker for "several hours" at the drop of a hat? How many businesses can be put on hold for "several hours"? And what on earth is someone expected to do for "several hours" in a car dealership building? I'm hoping to be able to report better service once I have actually been this afternoon, but previous experience isn't filling me with hope. So far the whole experience has been negative. Dreading it.

Took my van in for a service and a warranty repair on the heated windscreen, went in and was serviced on that day but took another day to find out the screen wasn't working? Told the screen would be repaired under warranty so took van back into Loughborough two weeks later, when I dropped off the van I was told it would be in for the day only so I'd planned my work to suit, come 5.30pm that same day I was told they had had trouble fitting the new screen and it would be another day in at Loughborough, not very happy but what can I do? Had to rearrange work as I had no van to work with!! That day came and I had to wait until 6pm that day until I could pick up the van, and had a run in with service girl over mileage left on hire car even though it had the petrol light on when I took it !!! Got van home and next day found the interior lights and 12v sockets not working found fuse had blown, they must have blown it replacing the screen!! Then to make thing worse this week needed to use new screen so pressed the button, to my dismay only one side of the windscreen cleared the same fault it went in for!!! Thought I'd have a look at the connections in the side pillars and I couldn't believe what I saw they hadn't reconnected the screen ?? So how did they test it was working???? if I hadn't rectified the problem my self God only know how long fords at Loughborough would have wanted to have kept the van to find the problem they caused.

I have never had to deal with such patronising , untrustworthy bunch of people in my life. I bought a brand New Car which had to be returned due to a Fault. I have had no calls from them so had to chase my self. I have been told so many different stories about my car it's unbelievable. Over a month since I bought the car and it is still having to be looked at. If it was a TV it would be replaced but a £15,000 car doesn't matter if your without for almost 2 weeks in just under 5 weeks since you bought it. I would NEVER recommend Sandicliffe Loughborough to anyone .

I needed a one year service for my Nissan qashqai 360 Special. the phone service for booking was easy and pleasant giving advice regarding time lengths and facilities. On arrival greeted by Service Personnel who had all the details, asked if there were any problems and double checked contact details. Tea/coffee available free of charge in the on site cafe. Called when car was ready and valeted was given a full run down of the service and tyre/break wear and advised where the car could be picked up. Reminded that a quality phone call could be expected . Very good and very pleased.
