There are many reviews on this page that I feel don’t correctly reflect the experience that most people would have here. I would like to credit Porsche West London with the way they have assisted me the past few weeks - especially in these challenging times. I unfortunately had some initial challenges with my Porsche that I purchased outside of London. One of the issues were a broken wheel lock nut in the car which became an issue due to a puncture I had during quarantine. As I was a NHS volunteer and required use of my car to deliver PPE and medication, Quikfit tyres were not going to change the wheel due to the state of the locknut and the potential damage that could be done when trying to remove. Porsche GB HQ were especially kind to reach out to the dealer principal at Porsche West London who kindly came into the dealership during lockdown (while it was closed) to help me attend to the wheel. Very grateful for the assistance from the team. When the centre opened up, I dealt with Dean from the Service Centre. The team had an excellent service check in facility, especially with the new protocols with Covid-19. He was very responsive on email/phone with updates of my car, and estimated times needed as the car was needed over two days. When collecting the car, it was valeted professionally and returned to me on time. Dean walked through in detail the work done on the car, which was very reassuring for a Porsche Enthusiast and considering the run around I was given Thank you Porsche West London for the service and work on the car and would recommend to anyone based on my experience!

"Disappointing experiences now after 4-5 years as a customer."

Purchased a porsche in 2015 from Porsche West London and for 2 years I felt the servicing and repairs were good and general customer service decent as expected. Since then I believe the quality of mechanics/engineers is significantly lower for whatever reason and prices have rocketed and this has not been communicated. The car also remained on site for two days initially without being addressed and having delivered the car back early Monday, its now been there for 4 days - to fix a simple coolant leak. This after a recent £1500 service end of 2018 and another visit two weeks ago FOR THE SAME RED LEVEL (COOLANT) INDICATOR ALERT that did not find any issues except with a tyre. Gold class mechanics indeed, yeh right. I'm starting to think there is only one gold level SME is onsite and therefore is single point sensitive. The customer service generally poorer as well with phones on the main desk regularly ringing out and the contact with service desk staff extremely difficult. Disappointing indeed when a need arises to return your car to address issues more than once and even more so given a main service had been conducted recently with no issues identified. Certainly makes you question the service quality. Makes me doubt the quality of both the servicing and engineers. Thinking seriously about changing from Porsche now. Its just getting crazy and just not worth it compared to other brands. Furthermore, there is only one recommended repairer in London to if you do require bodywork i.e. monopoly, leaving owners little choice. .....Update: I now receive a call advising of a £2300 fee to be paid with an hourly charge for labour of £205 plus vat. I was initially advised of a £700 cost and have not authorised a cost of £2300. Smelling very unethical practices here now. Never once was I advised of this hourly charge in the nearly 5 years of going to Porsche West London. Unreasonable and uninformative to say the least. At this rate I seriously feel my next purchase will be another brand. Must have spent £25 000 to £35 000 on services and maintenance since 2015 - after buying from this same dealer. Oh...but they do give you a complementary coffee or water. Enough...!

Porsche West London has had a major revamp recently and it shows in its sky high prices. Try calling any other main dealer Porsche Service Centre for a comparable quote and you will see what I mean. Porsche Guildford quoted me 33% cheaper on the same fixed price service. Shop around.

This doesn't reflect well on the Porsche brand overall, either, but the dealership's management of my enquiry exacerbated the failings. Porsche 911 key fobs (996's, anyway) fail after approximately 10 years use. There are hundred's of owners who have posted similar experiences to mine, online. As this is a failure, rather than as a result of wear, I wrote to Porsche UK, who advised I speak to my local dealer (Chiswick). I had previously ceased to use Chiswick Porsche, following poor service, but thought I'd give them another chance. In short, I visited, they took an hour to escalated my enquiry through their organisation, until finally they advised that they would charge me a non-refundable £100, just to "investigate" my issue. They advised that in any case, they expected it would require me to buy brand new Porsche key fobs at a cost of over £600 (for two). I had already been quoted by (and ultimately ordered new keys from) an independent dealer, who dealt directly with Porsche (central) and charged me £400. Beware...this dealership will charge you much more money than it should, and deliver a mediocre service at best (I have other similar anecdotes unfortunately). They are the epitome of a "rip off"...
