Wouldn't deal with them ever again! Paid over £70,000 for a one-owner low mileage car that came with unsafe brakes. The catalytic converters had been taken off and not supplied with the car! this must be illegal as the car cannot be MOT'd without them! Even worse, the engine was smoky on startup and needs a full engine rebuild to rectify the faults! Costs in excess of £5,000 Please beware!

I was misled by Chris and when I challenged him about it he was unwilling to do anything. Any other TVR specialist would do the 12k service for this price. I would never go back there.

Generally a good service, car was presented well and Chris and John quite friendly. We had two issues which in fairness Mole Valley could not have foreseen both of which were dealt with as quickly as Mole Valley possibly could. In both instances they took the vehicle to the main dealer ensuring the vehicle was repaired to the manufacturers standards and in my opinion did what was best for both car and customer. We had the vehicle ceramic pro'd by them and the job was carried out swiftly and professionally. When we purchased the car, John the Owner Salesman was away on holiday and there was a little confusion surrounding whether our vehicle was serviced or not, given we had two oil related mechanical issues shortly after service, we booked the car into the main dealer who suggested the engine oil had not in fact been changed for some time? Also when we purchased the car, we were advised the vehicle would be serviced as part of its PDI and we were informed the tyres would be inspected and if so required replaced. My Porsche dealer condemned the tyres during the service stating they were out of date, brittle and not safe for use.

I purchased a used SL55 from Mole Valley Specialist Cars at Capel, Dorking in March. I had cause to take issue first with the absence of the Tracker which the vehicle was advertised with. I appreciate this was probably an oversight where the car was sold to the dealer stating it had Tracker. Nevertheless when I queried this with Mole Valley they immediately refunded the installation cost I incurred on having Tracker fitted. Further, Mercedes hydraulic ABC suspension can be temperamental and I raised an issue with Mole Valley with the settling of the car after use. I obtained a quote from Mercedes Brooklands to repair and Mole Valley arranged for the vehicle to be repaired with a new (expensive) pump at their own expense. The process in both cases was completely hassle free and despite my concerns with buying an older SL55 Mole Valley made the experience and the value worth the decision. Now I just need the weather to appreciate the Merc.
