"Very disappointed "

Have an intermittent fault on my car. Owner James was dismissive and rude. I think the job was not worth his hassle and he dismissed my car fault as both a variant of normal and “things perish in cars over a period of time!” Didn’t think it warranted further investigation. Any garage can perform run of the mill servicing and keep a customer happy, it’s true test is working through diagnostics and repairs, this place fails massively. Disappointed, pity too as is my local garage.

"Not impressed....."

Tried Crackley Garage for an MOT. My van failed MOT so i authorised the repairs on my company vehicle asap....if I had a good experience I would have sent over my fleet of 12x vans, 4 cars, plus 1x classic car for anual servicing & MOT. Unfortunately I did not receive a very good experience...repairs average and took too long which caused me staff downtime because the vehicle was off the road and not working longer than been advised. I also thought James was rather chippy and had a bit of attitude and did not seem to care to much everytime I spoke to him. I feel he needs to brush up on his customer service skills over the telephone.....in person he was just as bad when I collected my van and his body language said it all. Would I use Crackley Garage again.....definitely NOT, I would not want to give our hard earned money or work to someone who does not seem to have any respect for customers. I have already found another Garage for my company vehicles and the new garage owner was very pleased of the four company vehicles I brought him kast week.

For many years, James has serviced and repaired cars belonging to all members of our family, including several Renaults, a Citroen, Honda, Saab and Mercedes. James always explains why certain work needs to be done and charges very reasonable hourly rates.

I was recommended them by a mate. I have used Crackley to > service an 18 year old old car. No suprise bills > MOT an 18 year old car. No extras found. > inspect tyre wear on a 6 year old car. Was told the tyres had another4-5k in them > advise on tyre noise on a 3 year old after Ford said it wasn't a rear wheel bearing. They looked at the front and back tyres. He then knocked my socks off by asking if I had swapped the tyres (front <> back). I had but had forgotten and not said anything. He then explained why the noise occured due to tracking having worn the insides unevenly. They re-aligned the wheels and the problem was greatly reduced. When I replaced the tyres, it went completely. I TRUST these people. Thats a lot more than I can say about most garages.
