BSMART AUTO (LEEDS, TORRE RD)... YES, BE SMART AND AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COST! I took my car 'specifically' for a dpf cleaning which according to their website they advertise themselves as specialists/experts. After taking my car, I received a call saying that they didn't find anything wrong with my dpf (in fact they said they found all the functions to be ok & within the required parameters) but have 'diagnosed' a faulty dpf sensor which need replacing... and which they did @ a total of £179, of which £70.16 was for the sensor the rest labour & diagnosis. Later in the day I received a call from one of their 'technicians' to say he's reset the engine management light but he's been unable to reset dpf/glow plug lights since he didn't have audi/vw VCDS but suggested the lights would go off once the car is driven for a while (if they didn't I should bring it back to have their 'audi specialist' who was off sick to reset the codes). Now then, whether she knew I'd spoken to him or not, their very knowledgeable customer advisor also called me to say the car was ready for pick up and all was good. After collecting the car, not only didn't the light go off but the engine management light also came back on within 30 minutes of drive + car went into limp mode. I called them the following day to explain the situation and I was advised to take the car for an overnight check up. I received a call the day after taking the car back to say that they had to call (not in-house, though another customer advisor did say that the specialist was indeed in-house ) an audi specialist to diagnose my car and that he/she has advised them that the dpf is so blocked it needs deep cleaning. She also said that they had done a hard regeneration but the dpf remained blocked. So, back we went to dpf cleaning after all, of which I was quoted £390 on top of £180 already paid for a new sensor (which by the way they had to replace again with another new one a day after replacing - because it was still returning faulty readings). I complained about the misdiagnosis/previous charges etc and was told as a gesture of good-will they'd knock off £40. In the end, I quite clearly and rightfully expressed my level of disatisfaction with their services and was told the choice was mine (in such a 'we care-less' manner) to have it fixed by them or take it elsewhere or better still to go think over it. I decided I'd rather pay someone else (even if it meant paying more than they were asking) than have them take another penny of mine. My experience has been horrible and my advise is... 'DONT WAIT TO EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF... LEARN FROM OTHERS LIKE ME AND AVOID THEM AT ALL COST'. I WARNED YOU!

I took my car in for it’s first service as it was a year and a week old, later that day I received a phone call from the garage apologising that they had also don an MOT on the car but not to worry they would give me next years MOT free, I’m LIVID as now if I don’t go to the same garage next year ill have to pay for a separate MOT, even worse I later found out that they had failed the MOT on the basis of a cracked number plate, I have looked into this and a car can fail the MOT if the number plate is badly cracked, however the crack was on the edge of the plate and did not go across any of the letters or numbers. Yes they knocked 30 quid off the service after I expressed how unhappy I was, but I expect the £52 I paid more than covers the cost of oil and filters. I have spoken with the DVSA and there’s no way to have the these MOTs removed so now I have a one year old car with an MOT fail on record, I wonder how much this has devalued my car

**** AVOID THIS COMPANY **** WOULD RATHER ARGUE AND BLAME CUSTOMER THAN ADMIT TO A MISTAKE ****. I have been a happy customer for many years but took my car in yesterday for an MOT and with a starting problem. I received a phone call telling me that the reason my car wasn't starting was due to a sulphured battery and that it would be £110.00 for a new battery. I got a battery from elsewhere and this morning found that my car would not start. I telephoned Bsmart and the girl on reception blamed everyone else except themselves and reluctantly told me to bring it in at 4pm. I went down with my wife and met the mechanic 'Dave', who is also the owner who instantly blamed us for not telling them what was wrong with the car. He stated that he had run a diagnostic on my battery and that it came back as needing to be replaced but could not provide the diagnostic sheet to prove this. He would not accept that he had made a mistake and would not do anything for us, even though we had bought a £90.00 battery that we did not need. on their advice. We tried to reason but he chose to insult us by blaming us, stating we did not give them enough information, (What more could we give than the car isn't starting on mornings???) and stood arguing over who was to blame. We asked for a goodwill gesture or a reduced cost for the proper repair but he would not back down still blaming us and we left. We will never use this company again!!! We went straight from Bsmart to another garage who stated instantly "it sounds like your fuel pump".

"Untrustworthy"

I brought my car in as there was a severe wobble in the steering wheel, after a 10 minute check over they advised the dent in my alloy was causing this and I’d need a whole new alloy (£1500+), they then said I needed a further 3 new tyres....complete scammers. When trying to explain to me the issue he wasn’t patient and was hurrying me along! After taking to my usual garage, there was a slight bulge in the tyre which was easily fixed with one new tyre. Would never go here again, completely untrustworthy.

I've used this garage a few times now and for me the biggest thing when dealing with my car is trust and having faith in the people who work in the garage. I've had a few bad experiences with garages trying to rip me off and have never had an issue with Bsmart. They work efficiently and are always ready to accommodate for their customers. I was told 2 days ago that I needed an entire new exhaust system putting in, today I took my car in at 8am and was back on the road before 9am. Excellent service and always clear with anything to do with the car. My go to garage for anything!! Some may argue that they are a bit pricey but they're worth it for their excellent customer service, high standards of work, clear communication and in my books you can't put a price on trust! 10/10 would recommend

I'm so glad that I have finally found a garage that I can trust and make sure that I get honest and informative information back from them so I can make better decisions. I booked my MOT and Service online through their website which I found was very convenient and easy to do. It showed me available dates and I got an email back to confirm the booking. My car was ready to collect as promised by the end of the day but out of courtesy the garage called me to let me know it was ready for collection early so I could pick it up anytime. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend Bsmart Autocentre - its an independent garage and its got exactly right in all aspects!

Searched the internet for a while looking for somewhere local to do a proper 4 wheel alignment. Bsmart looked reasonable if a little expensive, must be okay I thought. After the alignment was done I was presented with the "before and after" report that details the geometry measurements before and after they have worked on the car (as is always the case with a four wheel alignment). I could see that a large number of the measurements were still far away from the specifications and a large number were still exactly the same as before, no problem I thought, often components are bent meaning they cannot be adjusted back to spec. I asked about this and was told it was on the limit of adjustment, I asked what was bent, was told nothing was bent, very strange (something has to be worn or bent if it reaches the limit of adjustment before being in spec). When I arrived home I popped the bonnet and couldn't believe what I saw. The front camber is adjusted by means of loosening 3 bolts and sliding the strut top mount side to side within the turret (probably the easiest of all of the adjustments). When the car is new there are little pins in the top mounts to aid with assembly at the factory, these pins have to be popped out with a punch and discarded before adjusting the camber is possible (very, very common system). The pin was STILL in place. Neither top mount had been adjusted! LIERS! It's in the standard factory position, in the middle, no where near the limit of adjustment. On top of this the three nuts had been removed and replaced, probably with an impact gun judging by how tight and rounded they were. Also, the left hand top mount has a big gash in the metal and lots of scratches right through the paint as if it had been hit with a hammer and chisel (there is no concealable reason as to why you would need to do this). There were metal shavings everywhere. On top of this, they had done a similar thing with the rear camber, the steering wheel was no where near straight (how can you get this wrong?), the car drove twice as bad as before and the cherry on the cake is DSC (stability control) now kicks in on gentle left handers due to them mucking up the steering angle sensor. I had to drive to Germany the next morning, I had to knock the pin out and adjust the camber myself with a plum bob before I went. Appalling standard of work, and dishonest. NOT HAPPY.

"Fantastic service which never fails to impress me time after time"

I've been using Bsmart Autocentre for the last 3 years for various services, I first found them on Google when my timing belt went on my car, luckily it was just outside my house but the only issue I had was that I would need to get it recovered. When I called Bsmart they were to give me a quote, it was competitive, however the one thing that they offered was to recover the vehicle free of charge! I was very impressed, not only were they reasonably priced, offered me manufacturer parts which were the same as the dealers, re-assured me that it was covered in their 12 months guarantee AND offered me free recovery of the car I was really impressed. They picked it up the same day of the quote and advised that it would be done the next day which was reasonable seen as it was 3pmish when I called them. The next day I got a call and the car was ready to collect, great stuff, so I headed down to the Bsmart garage and my car was gleaming, the guys had done a complimentary mini valet, nice touch! Again I received a fantastic service, keys handed back and they made sure that I understood what the issue was and what had been replaced. The detailed report and great service will keep me coming back for all my car needs. I've just taken my car back for its MOT and Service, the great service reminded me that I must write a review so here I am today! Really would recommend these guys and I wish them all the luck as this is a fine example fo how a business should treat its customers and just go that extra mile.

"Exceptional Service, good honest advice and focus on the customers needs"

I saw this garage had a great offer on a MOT and Service, and there website explained that they would never intentionally fail a car to get the repair business as they could lose their VOSA MOT licence so it gave me some confidence that this garage new what todays customers are getting told about cheap MOT deals. So I booked my car in over the book online form they had, within 20 minutes I had a phone call from Bsmart to confirm my appointment and take some extra details that I had missed on the form. Very friendly girl on the phone and I was asked if I was waiting in the reception while they MOT'd the car and asked whether I would like a complimentary newspaper of my choice, now thats different and one of the reasons that has prompted me to write this review as its businesses like this that offer a high quality service and competitive pricing that go far. On the day of the appointment I drove to the garage, I was greeted in reception by a very friendly garage manager who booked me in and took my keys of me. I waited watching the MOT been undertaken from their reception on the Flatscreen tv as I helped myself to a complimentary coffee and read the paper I had requested earlier. Once the MOT had been completed, which is failed, the MOT technician explained the failure, brakes and tyres, opps. He showed me on the car and explained properly how the test is done and why its failed. I've never experienced this level of care and attention at a garage, I've been driving for over 30 years now and have been to various garages and non have ever bothered giving me a detailed explanation even when I've asked for one! I think I have wittered on for a while now but you can rest assured that Bsmart know what they are doing when it comes to running garages by having some great staff ready to offer you an outstanding service.
