Berrylands Autocare, Surbiton, Surrey

It's now 10 years since I switched to Berrylands Autocare for annual servicing and any repairs or advice. Once again they have proved to be outstanding. In the past month we've had two unrelated problems with our 11 year old car, and in both instances Harvey went out of his way to fit us in their busy schedule. This included arranging a recovery vehicle to pick up the car when it broke down in the middle of Kent. All the team are friendly and helpful, and I have no hesitation at giving a top rating.

This included arranging a recovery vehicle to pick up the car when it broke down in the middle of Kent. All the team are friendly and helpful, and I have no hesitation at giving a top rating.

First time I had used and was given a great service. I was kept informed with the progress of the vehicle, special thanks to Miles who made the whole experience easier as was worried as I have had bad experiences in the past.

I took my car into Berrylands Autocare for a suspected oil leak which was reported by the main dealer following a service. They quoted £900+ to fix. I took it in to Berrylands Autocare, they asked if I had noticed any oil spills where I park which there was none, Harvey and his team found some oil but suspect it was most likely caused by spillage during an oil service change. They cleaned up the area, and could not notice anything leaking. They gave the car back to me and said to come back in 2 weeks so they can doubly be sure. They also did not charge me for the check, I offered to pay for their time but they said it was ok.

Took my 2004 Mini Cooper in for a diagnostic & repair to the horn (a MoT failure!) and for a MoT. They fixed the horn and did the MoT. Very friendly and professional service and the cost was reasonable. I will use them again and would definitely recommend this garage to family & friends.

Having had mixed experiences elsewhere I discovered Berrylands Autocare and decided to try them based on customer reviews. Finding a good reliable garage can sometimes seem like a bit of a lottery so I'm glad I found these guys. The work was done today and now I know why they received all those good reviews – the service was excellent from start to finish! Everyone was friendly, considerate and helpful and the work was done promptly and at a reasonable price. The garage is in a quiet road so dropping off and collecting is easy too. Many thanks for the great service I received – I will definitely be using you again and have already recommended you to others.

I'd been recommended Berrylands by a friend, however I'd had a full service booked at a well-known garage the day before going to Berrylands. I mentioned to Berrylands that the car had been serviced the day before, and whilst Berrylands were repairing the car, they found that the well-known garage hadn't actually carried out some crucial parts of the service. The guys at Berrylands explained everything to me, helped me to get a full refund from the well-known garage and undertook the service themselves. Really nice guys - I'll be back for any future car issues!

As always Harvey & the team did a fantastic job, they go way & beyond to help. Best garage in the area!!!!!

I am so pleased I finally made the move from years of going to the same Vauxhall garage. I must have spent a huge amount unnecessarily over the years! The owner of Berrylands Autocare is friendly, efficient and doesn’t pressure you into having work done that doesn’t need doing. He spoke to me respectfully and kept me informed with the progress of my car throughout the day. In the past I have been spoken to like an idiot by garage owners...I actually know a lot more about cars than my partner! While I was collecting my car I heard the owner having a conversation with another female customer. She was obviously a returning customer and it was nice to hear how he spoke to her, reassuring her that he could fit her in and telling her not to worry. It’s a huge relief to have found an honest garage that I can trust. I will continue to use this garage in the future and would recommend them to anyone. If I could give a rating above excellent I would.

Berrylands Autocare is a superb garage. They always give you options if you need a repair and their servicing and MOT is excellent. The prices are very fair. I have been for many things ranging from MOT, service to repairs of faulty electrics. I have been extremely happy with all of these. The owners are extremely nice, courteous and always explain everything clearly.

I have used this garage for several years now for MOT, servicing and repairs. My car has over 115,000 miles on the clock, is a great little run-around, and Harvey and the team treat it with the greatest respect (not always the case when you present an old car at a garage). Harvey is always polite and professional and takes time to explain the fault, along with the options for fixing it. Some of his team have been with him for years, which is in itself a testament to the garage's professionalism. I always recommend this garage to friends and neighbours in the Kingston area without any hesitation, once they have had enough of the many expensive and thoroughly unhelpful dealerships in the area.

I don't usually write reviews, but I'm doing one here and on yell.com after having a very positive experience with this garage. I'll happily recommend them to my friends and family. They carried out an MOT on my old Saab and after it came up with a couple of issues, they sorted them out quickly and at a reasonable price. I was particularly impressed with their customer service. They were friendly and took the time to explain the repairs and the schedule. Then they called me during the day to keep me up-to-date on what was happening.

Berrylands Autocare are a brilliant local business with very knowledgeable mechanics who are excellent. They are friendly, approachable and they are very reasonably priced

I went to Berrylands Autocare for some damage repair to my car after someone crashed into it in a car park. The service was great, very friendly, and they managed to get me an accurate quote there and then so I could decide whether it would need to go through insurance or not. They got the repairs done very quickly, and also sorted out an on-going issue I had with the car. The car is now good as new. Will definitely take my car back here for any future issues and for mot/services. Thanks guys!

Family friend staying with us needing car for work during the day, had an exhaust problem. All other garages phoned were closing, these guys agreed to stay open to look at her car, which needed work doing. They knew she needed it for work and so next day they effected a medium-term repair, for a fair price, and let her know what would likely to be needed in the future. Honest and helpful.

Had a problem with my Peugeot 206 and was told it needs a new clutch. The price I was given a price at my local garage which made me think that I will have to scrap the car. But then I was told to get a quote from berrylands garage by a friend. They beat all the quotes provided by other garages and did a perfect job. I would definitely recommend this garage. Took my ageing Rover 75 there. A car which because of its age makes it uneconomic to throw money at. This they understood and tried hard to keep the costs down. I now have a functioning car. I will return when necessary. Very impressed!

I brought my car to Berrylands Autocare for an MOT after searching on the internet for a garage with good reviews. I therefore went there with high expectations and I can confirm those stars are totally deserved. They worked fast, well and effectively, they offered options and recommendations, made sure I was happy with solutions and did all of this always with a smile. I first used Berrylands Autocare in January this year to sort out a problem with my wife's Hyundai (not reaching operating temperature - below cold even after long run). Hyundai Belmont were useless and failed to rectify the problem even after I suggestd that the thermostat was faulty (said that there was nothing wrong with it after keeping it all day). I stopped using my local garage in The Avenue some time ago after a series of problems and poor customer service (last time car returned with two front wheel nuts missing!). I have been extremely impressed with Berrylands Autocare. It is a family run outfit and their customer care is excellent. They sorted out the thermostat quickly and at a very acceptable price. I was shown the parts they removed and was kept informed throughout. They have just sorted out my daughters elderly Renualt Meganne which had been diagnosed by the RAC with a series of very expensive problems. Berrylands quickly identiied a relatively minor issue with a cranshaft seal which was repaired quickly and at a modest price. Very impressed indeed!
