Clutch needs repaired on our Ford Focus - is this a fault with this car?
Our 2014 Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost has done 22,000 miles and is in garage awaiting major clutch repairs. Warranty expired six weeks ago. Never had clutch problems in 40 years driving. Is this a fault with this car?
Yes, an extremely common fault with the Focus 1.0 EcoBoost and the C-Max 1.0 Ecoboost. Fundamental weakness with the drivetrain. Ford should put its hand up, admit to this and pay for the repair.
