Should I repair my automatic Rover 75 that's lost its reverse gear?
I own a Rover 75 2.5-litre v6 automatic. Its lost reverse gear and I can't find a garage local to me to repair it. Seems a waste to get rid of it but what would you do?
On automatics, a piston cracks and a 3rd to 4th gear problem shows up, then gradually spreads as the bits from the damaged piston spread. Reverse goes next and soon there is no drive at all.
