I have received the invitation to have my Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI "fixed" by the main dealer to deal with the emissions issue. I have read the reports on your site of post-"fix" problems and I wonder what are the consequences of NOT having this work carried out? I am quite happy with the performance of the car (we also tow a caravan with it) and I don't want it to be worse afterwards. What do you think? I appreciate that they would probably want to do the "fix" during the next service even if I refuse it in the meantime.
