Can I have my 1-year-old Hyundai serviced locally without affecting the warranty?

I have just bought a 1-year-old Hyundai from a main dealership that is over 40 miles from my home address. Do I have to to use the dealership for servicing or can I take it to my local trustworthy service centre? What are the pros and cons of using my local service centre and would I have any problems if I needed to claim for any work done under the remaining four years' warranty?
The Hyundai warranty will only be valid if the car is serviced at an authorised Hyundai garage (that's not necessarily a Hyundai dealer though) so if your local garage is authorised to repair and service Hyundais then it won't affect the warranty.
