My BMW 3 Series 320D 2008 (72,000 miles) has just shown an increase in the oil level over the maximum. This is on the car's computer and not the dipstick which I have yet to check. My driving consists of short journeys of 14 miles each day but have just done a longer journey when the DPF was obviously regenerating as the fuel consumption increased before returning to normal. Should I be worried at this or will it right itself or should I get the oil changed promptly.
