Whilst getting my 2011 Fabia serviced at my local Skoda dealer I was informed that the brake pipes are corroded due to salt from the road and need to be cleaned and treated at a cost of £45. I've never heard of this problem before nor experienced it in 25 years of car ownership. On a car of this age is this normal or am I being taken for a ride?
