Can I have my Fiat Sedici's DPF professionally cleaned?
Arnold Clark has confirmed its £3300 plus quotation for a new DPF for a Fiat Sedici. Is it cast in gold? What are your thoughts on the DPF being professionally cleaned, such as by the DPF Clean Team, as an alternative to replacement?
Don’t illegally remove the DPF altogether because this could catch up with you when VOSA starts enforcing the law on this. It’s possible that the existing DPF can be saved by cleaning. Ceramex.com has developed a process for cleaning DPFs for trucks that can restore 95 per cent efficiency. It might work for your car, is available at most Unipart and Alliance autocentres and is now on trial at some KwikFits as well.
