Murphy's law states that when it is cold, snowing and a Saturday morning, that your car will not start due to a flat battery. I have a Citroen C4 Picasso, (70,000 miles on the clock) which is regularly serviced at my local Citroen garage (about eight miles from me). In fact it is due for its service and MoT this month. I phoned the service department to tell them my sorry story. Their response was to send out a mechanic to fit a new battery. Total time taken, about 3/4 of an hour. How about that for service?
