Does a dealer service history make a used car worth more?
Is there any difference in the price I would be offered when trading in a car if it has a full main dealer history or a full history from a local garage? I am asking this due to the very high cost from my nationwide main dealer.

If you are trading your car in at a dealer as part payment towards a newer car, a dealer would offer little or no more money for a car with a main dealer service history compared to an independent garage. It would make more of a difference if you were selling privately however, but probably not enough to offset the total extra cost of main dealer servicing.
