I personally recommend changing the cam belt, tensioner and water pump every 50,000-60,000 miles or five years (whichever comes first). The manual may state 100,000 miles, but neither the belt manufacturer nor Dacia will pay to fix the catastrophic damage a snapped cam belt will cause to the engine.

The majority of cam belt complaints (I hear about) happen between 50,000-100,000 miles or 5+ years.
