Dealer, or no dealer?
My Lexus GS300 is now in its 3rd year, with 14,000 miles on the clock. I am not really impressed with my local Lexus dealer, and am considering a service elsewhere. Are there any pitfalls or considerations to be taken into account in having a service by a non-Lexus garage? Thanks,
I'd stick with Lexus until the warranty ends (including a 3rd year
Service just before the end of the warranty). There may be technical issues that come up and you won't even know if you take the car elsewhere. After that, up to you. Just bear in mind that if anything goes wrong you will not be in line for any out of warranty goodwill from Lexus.
