** AVOID DEALING WITH THIS BUSINESS ** I recently purchased a Ford Kuga 2023 LD23EBT which it transpires had been involved in an accident and repaired/resprayed across both nearside front & rear doors and the inside chassis. This was not declared to us at the point of sale or even when we took it back on two occasions to their workshop suspecting that something was not right. I do not for one minute believe that Hendy's weren't aware of this damage at the time of the sale despite them saying everything to the contrary. From the outset, they declared that they were "unable" to refund me and that they could only "Exchange" a vehicle under their company policy. I maintained my rights under the Consumer Rights Act as the purchase of the vehicle was less than 14 days and was a faulty product, unfit for purpose and not sold as described. It took 12 days to finally resolve the matter when the sales manager eventually took notice of the situation and asked to see the vehicle before immediately agreeing to a full refund having simply pointed out one area of a paint run down one of the doors to him. It then took a further FOUR days, despite constant chase ups, for them to repay us the full amount outstanding, having initially promised they would make an urgent bank transfer to us on the same day they took the vehicle back. Throughout this whole period, the customer service as been nothing short of woeful, in not answering or responding to calls and E-mails, whilst I was stuck without a car and needing to transport my wife after a hospital operation which they were fully aware of from the outset. My advice is that you fully check any vehicle coming out of this showroom ....keen to sell you a vehicle, but disgraceful customer service once they have your money !! BE WARNED.......

My wife told me to trust you and we bought the car from you. You delivered the car to our house. This is great! But there were some very funny troubles. 1- The car did not have floor mats 2- You delivered the car with a broken fender. 3- There was a problem with the car gear change 4- You delivered a car whose front camera does not work. Shouldn't you be checking for these issues? Also, when I took the car to the service, there was a £6500 worth of engine failure. Are you kidding? You're a company big enough to put a mat. And we bought £30,000 worth of vehicles. But no doormat! We contacted you 5-10 times. But you are replying too late. Or you forget. You referred us to a Range Rover Service. We took the vehicle. There was a £6,500 problem with the vehicle. Yes, the insurance company and the waranty will do it, but it will take months. My wife is having a critical 8-month-old level 3 pregnancy. We moved to a place outside the city and since we do not have a car, we have to go to work by taxi every day. I also bought the car and liked it very much. I loved it so much. I bought some accessories for my car. I spent money and I spent money. Now you're telling me you want to refund the money for the car. Okay, that's a kind offer, but what about the grievances I've experienced? When I look at a car in the same color and with the same features, the prices have increased between £1500-3000 on average. My wife is pregnant and we need to buy a car as quickly as possible in this process. We don't even have time to deal with this car business when we have a lot of problems right now. We pay for a taxi every day. Finally, I bought accessories for the car and attached the accessories to the car. We are in serious trouble and we have the right to sue you for selling us such a car. I hope you will find a solution for this as quickly as possible.

Just bought a nearly new Vauxhall Astra from them (2015 registered, 15 thousand miles on the clock!) . . . for under 10 k! Don't think I'd have found a better deal anywhere and they gave me a great finance deal, where I'll barely even notice the payment. Sales person was really approachable, friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to all and go back for my next car . . . not that I'll need one for a while!
