Very dodgy manager who gave me a quote for my service, MOT and brake fluid change over the phone but when I came to collect the car he charged me double and insisted that he had not given me the original quote and that it must have been one of his staff who was conveniently off that day. I could tell from his voice that it was definitely him that gave me the quote over the phone but he just kept lying and insisted that it wasn't him and he knew nothing about the price that I was originally quoted. He showed me the price he had written in his diary and from his handwriting I could see all booking entries were by him yet he told me that he had not booked me in and it must have been his staff member who was off that day. Last year my wife had taken the car in for the service and MOT and he had charged her more than what he had quoted her and this year she asked me to take it in as she felt being a man I would not have the same issue. I will not be stepping foot in this garage again and absolutely do not recommend it at all as the manager is a liar and a cheat !!!

An expensive mistake. Gave them a try refurbishing my Jaguar alloys because my previous go-to for these jobs had closed. I should have been suspicious when their manager started making excuses for a poor job before they'd even started. I was willing to accept that doing one wheel would not guarantee a perfect colour match (something my previous place never told me because they always went the extra mile to get as close a match as possible), but when I got back a wheel that had runs on it with a pile of excuses about how it was due to the inconsistency of the process and the heat in the ovens etc etc (and not that they'd put too much powder coat on and it had slumped - bad workmen always blame their tools) I should have walked. Stupidly I gave them another go with another wheel thinking that I would at least have two the same but this one came back looking completely different from the first with flecks of black undercoat showing through the silver topcoat. They clearly could not get a consistent quality to their work and were experimenting, but this was denied by their manager who bare-faced ignored the evidence that was in front of his face. Any form of cosmetic vehicle work requires skill and these guys just don't have it but will make a million excuses for being incapable of doing what proper craftspeople take in their stride. It is not even that they are cheap - they are charging premium money but giving a sub-par service. Oh, and don't be fooled by the beautiful display of wheels in their reception - most of them are brand new (I took a look and they still have manufacturer stamps and lables on them) and not ones they refurbed. They are not claiming they are all their work but then again they aren't telling customers they aren't either. If you thought it was supposed to represent the quality of their work (as I mistakenly did) then you'd been misled. Pit Stop have my money, but they won't get my recommendation or any more of my business. I've since taken my wheels elsewhere and been told none of the BS The Pit Stop manager told me about matching them, and why should they because The Pit Stop seem to be the only wheel re-furbishers who (rightly) have no confidence in their own ability and tell their customers that in advance.

Left feeling like my wife had been financially taken advantage of when challenged a significant price that was presented to me at car collection without confirming any of the price breakdown clearly by item on the receipted work statement - only a single figure was quickly presented to me immediately via the card machine. When I challenged the price they gave a verbal breakdown of the cost that didn't match up to the total figure. Furthermore they claimed that my booking confirmation from bookmygarage.com wasn't their actual pricing despite having confirmed email confirmation from bookmygarage.com Left feeling financially taken advantage of with the lack of clear transparent pricing not all adding up and misleading and conflicting information at the payment process. They've sadly lost us as future customers.

After a flat tyre with kids in the car and standing in the rain for an hour I thought things couldn't get any worse. But they did, thanks to this garage. I ordered and paid for a premium tyre (£175) to match the ones already on the car, but the tyre that was fitted was a cheap equivalent worth £60. When my husband saw what they'd done he was furious. I checked my receipt & it didn't even detail the tyre ordered, just showed the amount. When we phoned to complain the owner was very aggressive & rude and refused to accept any responsibility or offer a refund or solution until we threatened to report him. Finally he agreed to put on the tyre I had paid for in the first place, but it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. If you must go to this garage, get a detailed receipt. Personally I wouldn't go back here if it was the last garage on earth.

Had a nail in my tyre and had to be replaced due to the location went to about 4 or 5 garages in paisley all quoting over 100 pound for a budget tyre the cheapest I was gonna get was 90 one place told me went to the pit stop and got a new one and fitted the next day for a total of 55 quid also met the owner very nice guy and customer focused !Highly recommend

Went in for service and mot they told me about my front tyre that I knew about and advised my rear brake pads get replaced I phoned around a few other garages and they were offering the best price so I called back and asked for it be done and retested got my car back in just over 2 hours with a mot, brand new tyre and rear brake pads for £200 delighted with their fast friendly and cheap service will be going here from now on thanks again guys.
