I highly recommend The Little Car Clinic in Attleborough, Darren and the team are honestly second to none, with extensive knowledge acquired over many years maintaining so many types of vehicles and although specialist in Audi and VW, I have neither and they have dealt with the cars better than any main dealer does. Nothing appears to phase them, in the last week they handled 3 of our cars, from a Water Pump failure in a Mini, to a new front grill on a Juke to a substantive project on a sports car - they handled it all. Not once did I think they didn't care, and not once did I think I was being ripped off, or short changed. Even though two of the cars had not been booked in and were dropped on them with no notice they managed to look at them quickly and all of them were back on the road quickly. When it comes to advice around products and safety this is particularly important. When they service or MOT the car you know it’s been done properly, using the right products and the right attention. They have handled projects for me that no Dealer would ever take on, and for those who have a cherished or classic car I would highly recommend them. Incredibly rare these days to have nothing bad to say about a supplier but really, I don't - the whole team from the point you make contact care about you, the car and the problem. I am very lucky to have found them.

I had been so several garages around norfolk and all to be told they could not fix my fault, my last resort was Mercedes Norwich who quoted me a lot of money. When I arrived at the little car clinic, I broke down in tears explaining my situation. They priced it all up for me there and then, a lovely hug from the receptionist and sent me off with a curtesy car so I could still get to work. In less then 24 hours I had a call saying it was ready and all fixed you can not get better service than this, we will be back and use them as our garage. My car was written off due to being in a small accident last Friday. I called the little car clinic in a panic due to not having a car the week before Christmas. Darren and the Team at the little car clinic were extremely proactive and helpful. They had a car come in the following day, got it's MOT done and sold it to me. I was beyond impressed with their service and efficiency. The car itself was one they had worked on since new, it had only one owner before me and no advisories on it's MOT which Darren did that day! Honestly, I am so grateful for this mechanic and I feel so happy to be one of their customers. They go above and beyond to help.

Service was carried out using manufacturer part to ensure warranty. Excellent customer service and value. I have used The Little Car Clinic over the last few years since moving to Norfolk. TLCC provide a service to the local community, often going the extra mile to help when vehicles have broken down, offering courtesy cars and ensuring good value for any work carried out.

Pleased to have discovered Darren at TLCC in recent years. Amazing skills utilised to provide exceptional service eg fashioning parts that are otherwise unavailable for both the Golf and my old Jeep. Garage staff team that show real care in their work. Even our daughters now use Darren when they visit from afar!

Was given details of TLC from a colleague at work who recommended this place due to having used them for many years in the past and being unable to fault them! So after calling them up and asked to speak to a technician, I was put through to Darren, who seems to know pretty much everything about my car as it turned out. Having booked the car in the day arrived and I took my little car in to be greeted by a happy bunch of ‘petrol heads’ as they call themselves, who jumped up and organised the courtesy car for me, went through all the controls etc and then sent me on my way. So far so good ?? A couple of hours in I received a phone call from Darren explaining a couple of problems on my car but in his experience ‘nothing to worry about’ . So, 4 hours later another call from the receptionist to let me know car is all done. I’d just like to thank Darren and his team hole heartedly. I have never ever been made to feel so at ease at a garage ever. They all are a tribute to their industry, and I would like to thank them and also, for the first time in twenty three years of driving, am now looking forward to next years service and Mot!!!!!!!!

I own a rare Maxza MX5 import, and TLC came recommended by the MX5 club. I started hearing worrying noises from the clutch last summer, and gave TLC a call. It was immediately clear that Darren knew what he was talking about - he's worked extensively on MX5's, and owns several himself. Despite this, my car proved a challenge - one new clutch later, and the noises remained. TLC stood by their promise and spent considerable time tracking the issue down to the gearbox. Darren coordinated a complete gearbox rebuild with an external company, including transport etc, then spent the time re-installing everything, including a replacement cat. The car was serviced and passed the MOT. TLC really gave it a new lease of life, and it drives fantastically after the work done on it. Thanks Darren!

I have had contact with Lucie, Darren and Dan and found them all to be excellent. Knowledgeable, skilled and enthusiastic. Darren has worked on my cars over several years servicing and doing other work and he has frequently gone the extra mile to help me out. Both Darren and Dan have a very deep knowledge of a wide variety of cars and the car trade from my experience. I would recommend the garage for enthusiasts and also those who just want a garage that they can trust. In over 30 years of using garages, TLC is the best I have come across with highly levels of technical expertise, friendliness and the ability to get the job done. They are also good value.

This has been my garage for the last 6 years, so there have been around 9 MOT's and 12 services for my MX5 and CX5, plus a few repairs and improvements. All work have been carried out to the same high standard. Darren set the garage up to be a top class independent and that's exactly what it is. The workshop is extremely well equipped, technical knowledge throughout is excellent and customer service is second to none. I would never consider going anywhere else.

I visited initially for a service which was all good then the same day was involved in an accident, they got my car back in quickly even though they were obviously busy and went above and beyond to get my car sorted ASAP. Very happy and will definitely be back for servicing and MOT’s

Have to admit I am a long term customer of Darren and his boys at The Little Car Clinic. In fact looking back, when I was living in Attleborough I was having my cars serviced and sorted by Darren for about five years. However, on the 1st of November, Darren simply excelled even his previous best. I took my current pride and joy, a VW Touareg in for a major service. Now I really rate the Touareg. It is big, smooth, practical and performs brilliantly for the long distances I drive. (The pic is the car in Germany last winter!) I told Darren I thought it was pulling a little to the left. I got a call saying the tracking was massively out and the car was basically eating its tyres. I didn’t realise it was that bad to be honest. It’s been brilliant since the day I got it.... not that I’m any sort of expert, but I was certainly very happy with the way it was. Long story short. When I picked up the car, Darren showed me the adjustments he’d made and he said, “Go away and drive it. If it doesn’t feel like a new car to you, I’ll eat my hat!” Or words to that effect. I went away. It did feel like a brilliantly different car to me. I had been driving a car that was massively underperforming... and loving it. Now it was light years better! Literally. I had to call Darren from the car within five miles of leaving The Little Car Clinic. Bottom line? If you want great service matched to honest and seriously expert advice, give these guys a call. (Darren is an ex Lotus engineer!) And yes, I am biased. They keep on just doing a better job than I’ve ever had anywhere else. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I now live in London, and I drive to Attleborough to get my car sorted!

My 2013 Renault Scenic alternator belt had snapped, so I took it in to The Little Car Clinic, they found that the belt had snapped prematurely due to oil ingress from a leaking crankshaft seal. Following a strip down and clean up of the area (due to oil spray from the leak) crankshaft seal was pins to be faulty. Spares were obtained (not easily as this car is registered on Spain) and the necessary repairs made.

I've been a customer of TLC for a couple of years now, since I've owned my VW Golf Mark 5, and it's the only garage I've ever taken it to for MOTs, repairs and services. Handily they are just down the road from me, but I would travel further for the customer service and quality of work they deliver. I've just got my car back from having the mother of all stints there, 3 weeks they had my car for an MOT, service and internal repairs due to a collision I had a couple of months ago. They've done a fantastic job and I'm thrilled with the way it drives and the peace of mind that it's now safe to drive. Darren let me have a courtesy car the whole time free of charge as it was beyond mine or his control that TLC had my car for so long, plus the bill was big enough as it was (although it could have been a lot bigger but Darren has been very kind to me in that respect). I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will keep using them again and again. They will always go the extra mile for you (pardon the pun) and it's greatly appreciated.

Just over two years ago I purchased an MX5 Mark 1 Eunos imported from Japan. It was in excellent condition in terms of body work but needed a proper service and repair of a leaking differential. None of the local garages including the Mazda dealer knew much about it. I found TLC by chance on the net as a specialist MX5 garage. Booked an appointment, met Darren the owner and instantly knew I was in safe hands. Problem was quickly sorted and ever since I've been bringing my car here for servicing. And ever since Darren has been working hard to get me to upgrade the car so that "....a nice car can become a real sports car". He is so passionate and enthusiastic and knowledgeable that I finally got sold on the idea - but postponed the decision for a year. Anyway, took the plunge earlier this week and in an incredibly short time got a call that the car was ready and looking and driving superb. WOW! what a transformation. Car has been lowered with better suspension, lovely interior upgrades, a terrific new exhaust and a fantastic performance enhancement just through better kit on the inside and re tuning. It's an hour's drive from Attleborough to my home and I was almost laughing out aloud with pleasure. Still smiling! Cost a bit but worth every penny. It's almost a different car. I have taken both my Porsche and Ford here for the Servicing and the level of expertise and knowledge is phenomenal. I'm extremely particular where I take the Porsche, but trust me when you see the professional setup they have you will have complete piece of mind. Every member of staff is polite and helpful and a genuine petrol head, their passion and enthusiasm is second to none. Their pricing structure is very clear and a Vehicle Health Check is fully explained to you when you collect the vehicle. Both times my cars have been with them a courtesy car has been available which, is always helpful. I couldn't recommend this garage highly enough

Booked my mothers car in for a MOT and service with this garage after a rather unsavoury experience last year with the main Ford dealer. From start to finish they were polite, informative, and were already familiar with what was required. Job done, explained in simple English the work carried out and then the bill...Almost £200 cheaper than the main dealer with the same work and original parts carried out / fitted, on a car twelve months older. Last year the main dealer advised my 76 year old mother that all 4 tyres required replacing, with 4mm tread remaining and she does 5,000 miles a year...The legal limit being 1.5mm Well played lads, you'll be getting additional work without question

Was recommended this garage by a friend. Although we live a while away it was worth the journey. My old Rav4 needed careful handling and she was treated kindly. I am delighted with the service and glad to give business to a garage where cars and their owners are truly cared for.

I first found Darren and TLC in Summer 2015 when my Ford Ka was leaking oil everywhere! I'd already been ripped off by another place but as a young woman with absolutely no idea about cars I just wanted it fixing and at a price I could afford. Darren and his team looked at it and were totally honest with me and told me it had to go. Despite having put a fair amount of time into it, they very kindly only charged me £10 for the 24 hours I'd had their courtesy car and told me not to worry about the rest of it. As the result of this, when I came a couple of months ago to look for a new car, Darren was the first person I thought of to ask. Sure enough he offered me a couple of options that he thought would be suitable for me. He was absolutely right, for less than £1000 I'm now the proud owner of a lovely Ford Focus. It's the perfect second car! Darren couldn't have been more helpful and honest,, he told me straight away that the car wasn't perfect, it's got some scratches and it's not the fanciest thing in the world, but mechanically it's brilliant. I was walked through it's entire history, shown all of it's previous MOTs, all of the paperwork etc etc. And I completely love it! Darren is my hero! I know nothing about cars, if ever there was someone with "rip me off" written all over them it would be me. But Darren has been absolutely lovely, he's taken care of me brilliantly, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'll certainly be back to him next year for my MOT and service and would recommend him to anyone!

I've been using The Little Car Clinic since its outset and I last reviewed in June 2011 (RDL). I'm glad to say that The Little Car Clinic has not lost any of its focus on service and expertise over the years. I'm especially pleased that although its well known as our top ranking local engineering station the prices haven't risen to cash in on its popularity - its still the honest place to go for high quality and traditional exceptional service. I am thrilled with the service I have received. The receptionist was warm, efficient and hilarious to boot, the mechanics are courteous and extremely knowledgeable, and Darren (the owner) impressed me hugely with his professionalism and in the way he provided me with a very thorough explanation of problems found and work undertaken. He is clearly passionate about his job. As I wasn't able to leave my car with them all day, I was also very impressed with the way they handled a service, diagnosed front brake pad/disc wear, ordered new parts, fitted them, and test drove the car all before I picked it up at 1.45pm the same day!! Brilliant.

I booked my signum in for a service and MOT but the day before it was due to go in the power steering failed. Guys in the shop were great, had a look and diagnosed it. Phoned up during working on it to confirm what was wrong and offered alternatives to a new ecu (saved me about £1000 in the process!) MOT and Service were completed, offered a quote for some minor advisories and will book in again. Very reassuring to find a good local garage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

If I ask the question to anyone at TLC is it possible to put the engine from the space shuttle in the worlds smallest car. They look at me, smile, and say absolutely. Daz and his crew are the only mechanics I trust to leave my cars to every time the Gov decides I'm needed in a sandy part of the world. After I return home they are in better condition then when I left them. Any American military near RAF Lakenheath or Mildenhall, well worth the drive down the newly remodelled A11. Which has no speed camera mind you... ??

The Little Car Clinic has the best parts of a main dealer and an independent rolled into one.

Excellent experience at this garage. Servicing completed properly, with advice offered for possible future maintenance by attentive and friendly staff in very clean working conditions. In addition, mechanics are polite and the owner is willing to spend time with you, explaining every step of the process. It's clear that the staff share the owner's enthusiasm and ethos for good service. Moreover a price menu means you have a good idea what all this will cost upfront. In my case, owner Darren also set up my MX-5 to handle much better than before. This garage really is the complete package.

I've just brought my MX5 back from TLC. A full service, new brakes and pads, and four wheel alignment, have all been explained, and other recommendations made. The car is hugely improved, and I won't hesitate to go back.

After seeing reviews and reading them, I had made my mind up to take my car to the little car clinic, I am so glad I did!! I then saw a advert in the paper for the little car clinic, and it really made my mind up to go ahead and use this garage! Being a lady I had previously had been ripped off by another garage, so I didn’t want this to happen again! Darren at the car clinic is sooo helpful, friendly, and give’s the best advice for you and your car and what to do! The courtesy car I was given while my was in the garage was a great little car, and it was so good to have a courtesy car, that life went on, and thing’s didn’t have to change due to my car being in the garage! Excellent service, excellent price and a fair price! Helpful people too, fast efficient service, nothing was a problem for them, I can’t believe either how fast the work was done, and I had my car back too! Very honest service and very honest people at the little car clinic! I now will be using this garage as my main garage, and all my work to my car, like mot’s services, and any problems, etc. , 10/10 , :) One very happy satisfied customer!! :)? ?

After hearing good reports I called in this morning for the wheel alignment to be set up my Mazda MX5 and the air con to be re-gassed. I left with a car that went round corners in a way it never has before and air con that has worked for the first time in several years. I'll definitely be using them again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a decent garage that won't rip you off.

After reading up on 'The Clinic' I thought i'd give them a try with my Mazda Mx5. I don't really know that much about cars and was always wary of going to somewhere new. However, from the time I called in and talked to the owner, who races a one off MX5,to the phone calls I received about what was going on right through to getting my car back, which was better than ever, I simply cannot thank / praise these people enough. The car now drives like new, the knowledge that these chaps and chappesess have is very comforting in the fact that you can sit back and relax in the knowledge that your car will be fixed to a fantastic standard. Thanks again, I will be back!

What a fabulous garage; all of the employees are friendly and helpful. The whole business focusses on the needs of the customer rather than just replacing things! I will continue to use them in the future as it is by far the best garage I have ever been to.

Saw the garage advertised and the reviews on this site and decided to try it. I can only describe the experience as 1st class. Very friendly and obviously a wealth of knowledge. Courtesy car supplied and when I collected my car it had been valeted. I have every faith in them and will be using them for every service in future.

I cannot recommend this garage highly enough. No matter what problem I have with my (ancient) car, I always get treated with respect and any problems are discussed with me in terms that I can understand. As a woman I've used garages before where I've had no idea what was happening, what I was being charged for and even if the work had been done properly. But that is now a thing of the past. Thank goodness for this garage. Don't go anywhere else.

I have been a customer of this garage since moving to the area nearly 2 years ago. In January this year my vehicle was written off by a young lad acting the fool in the snow. Knowing how much I loved this car, the garage owner drove all the way to Derby to get me a replacement (but newer) vehicle. The only thing I had to pay was for his diesel, there was no charge for his expertise or time. The Little Car Clinic go out of their way to please the customer. My father also now uses them having been ripped off in the past by other garages (he is elderly), I would not go anywhere else and would recommend them to anyone. Customer satisfaction is their forte and it shows. First rate for everything and if you do have to wait while your vehicle is being mot'd or repairs, the offer of tea and coffee is on hand, totally trustworthy,friendly and efficient.

Friendly, knowleadgeable, very clean environment, and above all honest! How many garages would quote a price, and after the customer has accepted and had the work completed phone back to advise the quote should have been less and adjust the bill down to suit? Could have easily just not let me know and taken the higher amount from me and I'd have been none the wiser. Honesty and expertise much appreciated, will use again for sure.

I'm always sceptical about garages, their motivations and the quality of their staff. Let me just say that this place is the proverbial hidden gem of garages in Norfolk. The staff are honest, knowledgeable, friendly and take a refreshing approach to customer interaction and service. If you want to see how a good business can be run then go and visit these guys, you will not be disappointed. What a breath of fresh air! Imagine – a spotless workshop and an interested and knowledgeable workforce. They paid close attention to my Mercedes S 500 L and turned a good and solid car into a dream car. You have to experience it to believe it. I was given had a courtesy car that required no paperwork or any effort on my part throughout the service period and my car was handed back to me spotless inside and out. Think how you would like your car and you to be treated – then go to the Little Car Clinic and have your dreams made true. The bill was also £500 less than I’d ever paid for the work before – you just cannot beat it!! I'm one very very satisfied and frankly amazed customer would will go back again.
