When the front suspension on my 09 Punto started to make a noise I contacted my local Fiat franchisee for advice. As it is out of warranty we charge £90 inc. VAT for diagnosis they said. They would not budge even though they serviced it a few months ago, and the car has done only 17,000 miles. My husband said phone S and H Motors, who are a local independent Fiat specialist of good repute. It could be the steering drop arm they said, they are prone to that, bring it in today, we don't charge for diagnosis and might even be able to fix it straightaway. This is exactly what they did, at a total cost of £51. Guess who will get my custom in future?
