I bought my car in for mot,it failed on motor for lights.I got a replacement from breakers and asked a friend to check it and it was the headlights that needed replacing not motor.I returned my car to be retested and received a phoncall to say it was ready but they had parked my car a long way away from the garage.I had to walk a good mile to the garage to collect my car key and mot certificate and then a long walk to get my car.In the years of having my car mot,d I have never had to walk for miles to get my car.There was plenty of spaces in other car parks or they could of left it on the forecourt for me like all garages do.I wonder if they treat all customers like that,or what if they are elderly.Im sure they could of offered to take me to my car,but nothing was said.No apology in the office,just a comment "my dog would enjoy the walk" and a smirk from the manager.I will never use this garage or recommend.

The work was arranged through AA Smart care so there communication and administration issues dealt with as feedback elsewhere. The car was in for service and MOT. The car failed the MOT on worn front brake pads. I authorized their replacement and also the discs that were shown as an advisory together with handbrake adjustment because of excessive travel. When the car was returned at 5.35 on a Friday the handbrake clearly had not been adjusted and I had to wait for an email from AA Smart care with the service schedule,vehicle report and invoices [ but not the MOT fail and pass certificates]- I found them myself on www.gov.uk On checking the car over I found that the oil had been filled to over the maximum mark and the washer and brake fluid reservoirs were also overfilled. My car had previously gone to the local Ford garage for work and that is where it is going next time. The garage has admitted that the handbrake was not adjusted[ it is still shown as an advisory on the MOT pass certificate] and I have been promised a refund from AA Smart care within 10 days for the cost of the work not done.

I ordered tyres on line and they were the fitting agents. I pitched up as agreed at around 9.30am and they were ready for me. I could not find the locking wheel nut adaptor and returned home to search. I arrived back to them with time ticking away to a doctor's appointment 3 miles away. I authorised them to "crack off" the locking nuts , Meanwhile, at their suggestion. their driver took me to my doctor and picked me up promptly and returned me- there was no charge for this. Meanwhile, they had not given up on the wheel nuts and re-searched the car (I had already done this in their presence) and found the adaptor had rolled into the spare wheel well. Full marks for initiative. I had noted the garage was clean, tidy and looked very professional. They had a great waiting room. A very professional service, that really went the extra mile. Their charges for general work are no more than local flea pit garages and the whole set up would put main dealers to shame. I would not hesitate to use them again
