So many things that did not live up to expectation for a new car. To list a few, *Wheel nuts had not been properly tightened (advised by an independent) *tyre pressures had not been checked and set (2tyres requires several seconds of air to get to correct pressure) *Not all protection tape had been removed *Some areas of black trim were scuffed white *Handover was poor, and still unable to show me how some things work *Fitted dashcam incorrectly *Initial test drive booked for next day, turned up, they had no record of the booking. Probably/possibly more but cannot recall whilst writing.

I am of that age where I have been in many main dealers for services, Honda, BMW, Ford, Vauxhall etc. It’s usually the same pattern drop your keys, check they have your number and leave with a grunt and a wave if your lucky. So to be greeted at the door with a cheerful Good morning sir, then lead through to reception and onto a desk and seat where a pleasant service person had my paperwork, she explained what they intended to do, asked me was there anything else I needed looking at, she then lead me through to reception and offered us coffee which we had, before going to do a little shopping, three hours later we received a call my car was ready for collection upon returning we were lead through reception again and sat down to be shown a short video of the mechanic checking the underside of my vehicle and explaining what he was doing and what I was seeing, fantastic the paperwork was completed placed in a folder and given to us, we cheekily asked for a coffee which we were happily given but told give me a shout when your ready to leave and I’ll walk you out to your car. All the video and paperwork was also sent to my email address fantastic, other than the coffee we were dealt with in a very efficient and timely manner of about ten minutes, after our coffee we were taken to our car which had been valeted inside and out, we were also informed we could ask Dave the mechanic if there was anything we wanted to know, we left with a lovely cheerful wave and the words We hope to see you again in the next eighteen months. I have looked over the video a couple of times since & it’s great to see the condition of the underside of my vehicle so clearly while sat on my sofa. I am very pleased and impressed. I bought the a Skoda Roomster from Rainworth Skoda dealer (Mansfield) on 19.12.2016. I bought the car from dealer for peace of mind. I went on a Saturday to buy the car and after a small drive it felt ok and I bought it. Although there was some noise at the time of starting the engine- I thought it was because the car may be sitting for a while. Since purchase I have driven approx 1900 miles and the sound was getting worse. I took the car to Willis Motor Company (local dealer) who is trying to sort the engine sound under warranty. However, they have highlighted that the car needs new rear tyres, rear break pads/disc, hand break is sticking, and there is a ?? leak of engine oil. I contacted Rainworth and service manager Mathew did not believe what Willis Motor group has found, hence, he wants me to take the car back to Mansfield which is a day's job. I cannot stop my business c/o financial loss. Mathew stated because I bought the car from Mansfield I should be prepared to take it back as well. Mathew is not prepared to contact Willis Motor to deal with the matter. When I bought the car the sales man (Richard) gave me assurance that I can take the car back to any dealer in case of any problem. I bought the car by trusting the name Skoda- The car can never suffer that much of wear/tear in 1800/1900 miles of driving within 2 months. Two dealers do not trust each other- I am the victim in every possible way. Should I buy another Skoda again- I doubt. I will have to go to the court. Faisal and Loyd from Skoda Customer service basically said that they are not bothered.
