"Careless not bothered"

I recently sold my car and the potential buyer asked for the car to be serviced by main dealer Porsche so the closest was Jardine Porsche Cambridge. I booked my 911 997 and sent the car for service 2-3 prior to the buyers arrival. The car was (MAYBE/ MAYBE NOT) serviced and as I was at work got my father to pick it up. On the day of the sale the buyer informed me he came from all the way from Leeds. When he started the car he found the service light was still on. We checked the book and it was NOT stamped. The buyer was furious and left as you can appreciate he came from Leeds all the way to Stansted only to leave without a car. I notified Porsche and the person who specifically dealt with it. He not only did not apologise but informed me to just bring it in. Not being able to recognise the problem he put me in I gave up though I did vent my frustration with one of his colleagues while I was on hold. I lost the sale and had to sell to the next person in line for £1,500 less plus a long journey to Bolton with costs from Fuel, Hotel and £90.00 train fare. The people who run the Centre should take more responsibly and accountability for their actions. I will not be taking my Cayenne to see them that is a guarantee. And I would like to apologise to Jardine Centre Porsche for not being a grade a customer with a 911 GT3 etc that being said I basically paid £1200 for a few litres of motor oil and being told my 10 year old car is old ( which it seems I did not notice). Had dent in rear bumper early December 2016. Expected time of completed repair 8 weeks later Unable to supply cross-member for bumper. Amazing inefficiency. No parts to repair what is probably THE commonest accident job for any car

"Expected far better service from a Porsche Service Centre"

I had booked my car in for this Friday for a major service over a month ago, arranging a days holiday from work in order to collect it the same day. I rang this morning (Tuesday) to confirm what courtesy car I would be getting for the day and was told by the Servicing Manager that one was not available for me. With a major service taking several hours and possibly a whole day, I said I needed one to avoid spending the whole day waiting at the Centre. I was told by her that there was nothing they could do, collection of the car was not possible and that I would need to rebook my service into August 2015 if I really needed a car for the day. I was also asked why I didn't request one when booking otherwise one would have been booked in. For a moment, I wondered if I was actually talking to a Porsche Centre and not a more money-friendly manufacturer. I quickly rang the Porsche Silverstone Centre who fortunately will be able to perform the service this Friday and give me the choice of one of their two emergency cars that they have just in case; an Audi A5 or Mini Cooper. The gentleman I spoken to couldn't be more helpful and even threw in a discounted MOT to be done while the car is there. Fortunately this means I can actually make use of my holiday and take a take a day trip with my girlfriend. When I rang the Cambridge Centre back to cancel my booking, there wasn't the slightest attempt to change my mind from the same lady or an attempt to win my service back. Again, this isn't a Kia or Ford dealership but Porsche and was shocked by the lack of enthusiasm for over one thousand pounds worth of service. Their loss I'm afraid as I've even agreed to spend £150 extra than what was initially agreed to have the brake fluid changed also. I'm going to driving an additional hour and half to get to Silverstone (leaving at 6AM) but I feel its ruddy worth the effort if I know myself and my car are going be treated the way I would expect from a Porsche Service Centre.

"AVOID AVOID AVOID"

I have never dealt with such a rude, obnoxious and aggressive salesman as Scott Perkins. The car that I purchased has been towed away twice to repair and I have had to pay twice for private repairs as the warranty does not cover the problems. They should have inspected the car before they sold it to me, but when I found the other problems in addition to the above Scott was so rude to me I was afraid to call and report more problems. I would NEVER deal with this garage again, avoid at all costs, once they have your money you can rot in hell as far as they are concerned. If I had paid £200 for a car then I could live with this type of service, but the price I paid and the brand they are representing, they should be ashamed of the way they treat people. "Professional Service "

Have used them to perform all servicing and repairs on a Porsche Boxster for the last 8 years. Have always found them to be very professional and giving good customer service. Yes you pay a high price for this but nothing on a Porsche is cheap. They will always collect and deliver car to you within a reasonable distance at no extra charge, and it always comes back cleaned inside and out. When some out of warranty work was needed they got a substanial contribution from Porsche and completed the work very quickly. Once you get on their mailing list they send you a quality magazine every couple of months and invite along to various events at the dealership. These events are always very good either a chance to see under your car , or get a free check over and talk to their technicians and service/ sales and bodyshop managers.
