Murray Volkswagen, Newton Abbot

My cars have previously been serviced by South Herefordshire Audi and VW, who are excellent, but I have recently moved to Torquay. As it was coming up to MOT and end of warranty I booked it in, and also asked for the fixed price servicing offer. I was told that this took a month to organise (why ???) and this would have taken me over the MOT/warranty period. As it was they picked up that it needed new springs (!!!) and other works. However, I complained to VW that nowhere on their website does it say that it takes so long to process the service offer. VW said it should have been possible to process it more quickly so I could take advantage of the offer. The outcome is that I have missed out to the tune of almost £200 and Murray's aren't interested.
