I bought my BMW ix3 in for its first MOT and final check under 3 yr warranty at 1pm today I was quoted 2 and a half hours to include a vallet for the car. I did ask them about a leak which they said they would look at . Well we came back at 3pm and as we were early said we would wait the 30 minutes . The woman on the service reception apologised and said they had attempted to valet (wash) the car 3 times but it was too hot I said hopefully it's not too covered in watermarks . Finally at 4.30 so 3 and a half hours later I paid for the MOT and the car was supposedly around the front but it was tucked into the lot around the back which was a pain to reverse it out with cars jammed in everywhere. There wasn't a sign of a drop of water on the car and it was the same as I bought it in still with cobwebs here and there. As I left a chap apologised for the car being tucked in and not moved to the front as promised. I know they are my local BMW garage but I think I will look elsewhere in future. So bad review I know but on the standard of my previous BMW garage in Salisbury Wiltshire they don't compare .

For a BMW garage they are not helpful at all . Don’t think any one apart from sale team know how to use a phone . Just keep getting fobbed off . Telling me some one will call . My BMW as had recal notice they need car all day but no one will talk to me about getting a curtsies car . They would if I told them I’ll spend a few grand . Took car there June last year for services mot and health check . Was told it would be washed and valeted when I picked it up had not been done . Was told they had new valaters and they was having problems with them . Asked for a quote on a repair was told they had looked and quote would be in post a year later still waiting for it . Must be coming by carrier pigeon from Australia . Have not even got my Reg correct on paper work

I physically walk in to Listers Boston to get prices for a service and told to go away and phone Lincoln instead because they have no-one availble, for up to 2 hrs. So I sit in my 6 series outside, avoiding the sales team who have lots of time to hassle customers. I make the call and am told I can't get a proper quote for a service without taking the key fob in to Boston and updating their records......but they are too busy. I give up and use my key to drive to the Mercedees garage and realise it's Listers too. Not a chance.

I purchased a 65 plate BMW 520d Msport for what seemed like a good price from their Boston dealership. I should have realised when I went to collect the vehicle and they wouldn't accept a card payment this would be not be a smooth transaction! Finally once home after 4 hours organising a money transfer over the phone in the dealership and a 4 hour drive home, in bright sunlight, on my driveway it became apparent the vehicle was poorly prepared and was covered in fine circular scratches all over the body work which could not be polished out. After much debate over the phone and emails to the dealership they agreed to supply a replacement vehicle at additional cost to myself. On arrival at the dealership the next week and on close inspection this vehicle had a small dent in the rear wheel arch which could not be removed. It was then I requested my part exchange back and a request to reverse the deal. I was then told I was being too fussy and that a dent of that size in a car of £23000 was acceptable! The sales manager agreed and gave me back my vehicle however the return of the balance for which I had paid I was made to wait another 7 days! From start to end I cannot believe I had been dealing with a BMW main dealer and their complete lack of professionalism. I have contacted BMW who don't want to know as Listers is a franchise and to date await a response from Listers MD!

Listers BMW, Boston give an excellent service, I've had my car picked up & returned to me at no extra cost, they store my winter wheels & tyres with no charge & since I've used winter tyres ( 2yrs ) they have not charged me to change them over twice a year! Their prices are very fair & my car is always given a wash & vacuum before it is returned to me!
