After this I wouldn't trust them! I took my car in yesterday evening for kwik fit to have a look at my exhaust which had a rattle, this morning they phoned me saying that the entire exhaust needed to be replaced costing over £400. Upon saying that I needed to have a second opinion the price was then dropped to around £320, however at this point I wanted to follow through with the second opinion. When picking my car up I noticed that the exhaust was no longer connected to the engine, after asking the staff about this they said it was due to the damaged exhaust. The car has now been fixed by my second opinion, where the only work that needed doing was a new bracket to be fitted to the exhaust and to bend it slightly to follow the body of the car. The actual cost of repair was £45 around 10% of what kwik fit quoted me, after this experience it's fair to say that I will not be trusting kwik fit again.
