I took my car there to have a turbo fitted but when i went to collect i couldn't move the gear stick so went back to find someone for help and the woman shouted across the garage for someone to help me as i wasn't strong enough to put my car in gear "fucking rude" then a mechanic came to look and after he couldn't move the gear stick he and my husband pushed the car in to a gap to go forward if my husband managed to get a gear after the mechanic wasn't strong enough to get the gear he then walk off and we didn't see anyone again my husband took the gear stick apart and managed to get it in first so we drove home slowly .we paid over £500 for nothing and they quoted us over £500 to get it through its MOT but we said no we took it to Finney garage and they did the work for MOT and charged us £140 I wouldn't recommend kings to anyone incompetence expexpensive and dam right rude just to walk away when we paid all that money

I had my breakdown company take my car to King's Garage when the radiator expansion tank line snapped off. They quoted me £300 to replace the radiator. The next morning, they called me to say they had glued the connector back on and it would only be £40, instead of £300. I collected the car, and booked an MOT at the same time for a couple of days later. In between, I looked at the repair and it looked a total mess, but it didn't seem to be leaking. That's when I noticed that they had not bolted the radiator fan to the radiator - it was just dumped in the engine bay, nor had they connected the electrics. I brought this up with them when I went for the MOT and he just said "oh well you've fixed it now haven't you!" - completely oblivious to the fact that that's what I had paid THEM to do! As for the repair, it burst again a couple of days ago (less than a month after they repaired it). Fortunately I noticed the leak at home, but I could have been anywhere with my wife and 4 year old daughter in the car, stranded. Whatever they used to bond the port back on has completely perished, and just crumbled like dry paper - it was clearly completely unsuitable for the job. My car is once again out of action because they couldn't be bothered to do the repair properly when I had the car towed down there. This incompetent, lazy garage will never work on my car again and I do not recommend them to anybody.

A very good family run business with friendly staff who are always ready to do that little bit extra to help the customer. Their prices are very reasonable without any hint of price padding and there is never a hint of "extra work" being found. Their honesty and integrity are beyond reproach and I would happily recommend their services to all motorists be they local or passing traffic.
